CRE is a company having a firm belief to provide best quality air treatment products to meet the requirements of HVAC system designers to cater to the ever changing needs of air conditioning industry, CRE has started manufacturing top of the line double skin air handling units ranging from 1200 cfm to 102000 cfm.

Double skin air handling units being manufactured by CRE incorporate state of the art features & latest manufacturing techniques.

Available in various sizes, floor mounted. Ceiling suspended & vertical floor mounted A.H.U’s from different viable proposition to solve designer’s hinderance.

Structure of double skin air handling units is made of special extruded aluminium profile developed indigenously, which provides additional strength to the housing. Upon customer’s request, the frame work can be anodised also to prevent scratches formation, starting from various stages of manufacturing to installation and commissioning. Various sizes of profiles are used to manufacture A.H.U’s according to designed flow rates. As an alternative, to cater to the requirements of clean room applications, coved internal joints & profiles can also be provided.

Double skin panels available in various thickness (25 mm, 43 mm, 50 mm & 60 mm), filled with environment friendly poly urethane foam.

As standard, 24 G pre-coated sheet duly laminated for surface protection on outer casing and 24 gauge plain galvanised sheet as inner casing is provided. However, the same can be provided as total compliant to the customer’s prerequisites. Drain pan constructed out of 18 gauge aluminium is provided as standard. The same in stainless steel and galvanised sheet are also available as an option.

Coil section with cassette type, removable chilled water coils (available in ½ inch, 5/8 inches), DX coils and hot water or steam coils, form and integral part of double skin air handling units. Upon request, all blank off and mounting arrangement can be provided either of stainless steel or aluminium construction.

Fan section with DIDW centrifugal fans (backward curved or forward curved) with fans duly interlocked with fan section’s access door also forms an integral part of double skin air handling units. Factory fitted earthing is provided in fan section at the factory itself.

Extruded aluminium fan and motor mounting arrangement, properly seated on cushy foot mountings or spring isolators is also provided as standard in fan section. Fan’s casing is then connected to the housing by fire retardant canvas cloth to arrest undue vibration from being transmitted to the casing and in turn to the duct system.

Specially manufactured glass reinforced and imported nylon corners are provided as standard. All hinges, latches and door handles are developed indigeneously meant to provide additional strength to the structure. The above can be supplied in two types of material – Die cast aluminium or Hard Nylon. 100 mm / 150 mm unit base channel constructed out of M.S Angle duly painted is provided with A.H.U’s.

For comfort application, filter section with flat pre-filters in extruded aluminium frame work is provided as standard. Upon customers request, tailor made housing in double skin construction can be provided to house box type Pre, Fine, Hepa and Carbon Filters.

For providing a solution towards ventilation, single / double skin housing having same constructional features as detailed above, incorporating DIDW centrifugal forward curved / backward curved fans can be provided upon customers request.

CRE also manufacture evaporative air cooling units based on celldeck pad media & spray type nozzles meant for air washing. Spray arrangement in single or double bank spray headers, based on evaporative cooling can also be provided as per the requirement.

Optionally following items can be provided upon customer’s request:

1. Manually operated / motorised fresh air and return air dampers for mixing chamber.
2. Manually operated / motorised bypass damper in galvanised steel / aluminium / stainless steel construction.
3. Overhead weather proof canopy constructed out of galvanised steel / aluminium stainless steel construction.
4. Thermally insulated totally sealed glass inspection window.
5. Thermal break on panels and frame work.
6. Weather proof marine light.
7. Any others special feature as requested by the customer.
8. Manometer ports etc.
